Professor Lin Jinfang is a senior physician and PhD supervisor. She formerly directed the Division of Gynecologic Endocrinology at Fudan University’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital (Red House) in Shanghai. She has more than 40 years of clinical experience. She is a pioneer in gynecologic endocrinology and reproductive medicine and a Lin Qiaozhi Cup honoree.

Focus: complex endocrine infertility; POI and ovarian aging. She developed the "remaining follicle resuscitation" approach. She also treats PCOS, including non-obese types, endometriosis and adenomyosis, amenorrhea, anovulation, and recurrent miscarriage. Dr. Shen Yuqin, MD, PhD, is Professor and Chief Physician at Shanghai Tongji Hospital. Dr. Shen directs the Rehabilitation Medicine Center and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department. A doctoral supervisor and National Advanced Worker, Dr. Shen is a pioneer in cardiac rehabilitation for heart failure.

Dr. Shen was the first in China to implement cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET)-guided rehabilitation for heart failure. Dr. Shen also introduced the use of the anaerobic threshold to prescribe exercise intensity. The team created a nationwide hospital–community–home closed-loop model. In 2020, they opened Shanghai’s only inpatient cardiac rehabilitation ward in a tertiary hospital.

Dr. Shen is the principal investigator of two NSFC General Projects. Honors include the CRMA Science and Technology Award, First Prize (2019), and the Shanghai Rehabilitation Medicine Science and Technology Progress Awards, First Prize (2018, 2024). Dr. Shen has published over 50 papers as first or corresponding author. Dr. Shen served as chief editor of one monograph and associate editor of two. The portfolio includes 22 patents (15 authorized, including three invention patents) and five software copyrights. Nine technology transfers have been completed.

Dr. Shen is a Fellow of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (FAACVPR) and a CDQI certified expert. Dr. Shen serves as an associate editor and editorial board member. Dr. Shen led the drafting of eight consensuses, guidelines, and standards, and organized 20 national courses. The center has served more than 10,000 patients. The care model has been extended across Shanghai and introduced in Yunnan.

Dr. Wan Daqian, MD, PhD, is Associate Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor in Orthopedics (Joint Surgery) at Shanghai Tongji Hospital. He focuses on joint surgery and sports medicine. He performs shoulder and knee arthroscopy and total hip and knee arthroplasty. He was among the first to use stem-cell therapy for osteoarticular bone-defect disease. His surgical volume ranks among the highest in the region.

He has led 7 grants, including one NSFC General Project. He has published over 20 SCI papers. Some sources report over 30 SCI papers among more than 40 articles, with 8 in Q1 journals, a cumulative impact factor over 100, and a maximum impact factor of 12.153. He has served as a guest editor for multiple journals. He co-authored one monograph.

Credentials and awards: He was mentored by Academician Dai Kerong. He was a visiting scholar in biomedical engineering at UC Berkeley. He received the Shanghai “Super Postdoctoral” award. He is a researcher with the Key Lab of Spine & Spinal Cord Injury (MOE). His honors include the Heilongjiang Medical & Health New Technology Award (Third Prize) and the Harbin Medical & Health New Technology Application Award (First Prize).

Dr. Ding Yi is the Associate Chief Physician in Hematology at Shanghai Tongji Hospital. She is also the acting deputy director of the Blood Transfusion Department. She holds a Master of Medicine from Tongji University. She serves on the Youth Committee of the Shanghai Society of Hematology.

She is skilled in diagnosing and treating leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. She offers hematopoietic and umbilical cord blood stem cell therapies. She specializes in acute leukemia. Dr. Shao Ming is a leading neurologist and neurosurgeon at Dr. Eber Brain Hospital. He was featured on the cover of The Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Shao specializes in epilepsy treatment for both children and adults. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University and Dartmouth College.
