He is the founder and head of the Israel Spine Center at Assuta Hospital and has authored over 50 papers on spine conditions treatment. He holds a degree in general medicine from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, specialty in neurosurgery from Hadassah University Hospital-Ein Kerem, and has completed training in spinal surgery from Montefiore Medical Center.
