How Much Does Screw retained implant bridge Cost in Turkey?

A screw retained implant bridge in Turkey typically costs from $1,500 to $3,100. The final price depends on the chosen bridge material, number of implants, and the clinic location. Patients save around 79% compared to the US, where this procedure costs $11,000 on average. Standard packages in Turkey often include the bridge, implants, accommodation, and VIP airport transfers.

  • Bridge material: Zirconia bridges typically cost more than porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) options.
  • Implant brand: Premium brands like Straumann or Nobel Biocare add a significant premium.
  • Number of implants: Costs scale based on whether the bridge uses four or six implants.
  • Major medical hubs: Primary destinations for dental restorations include Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, and Izmir.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing university-affiliated clinics or JCI-accredited hospitals in Istanbul ensures high-level surgical standards. For example, İstinye Dental Hospital offers university-backed expertise for complex reconstructions. Alternatively, clusters in Antalya like Soraca Med provide high-value packages for approximately $6,100 including 8 implants. This approach often saves 50% compared to equivalent high-tier European or UK dental clinics.

I will recommend the clinic to everyone I know, I'm glad I chose it
While in the clinic, I liked the entire medical team, everything was organised quickly, correctly, and there was also the advantage of having an interpreter. The organisation of the clinic and the coordinator was at the highest level, both professionally and in personal matters, The hotel was great, I didn't even expect it. I will recommend the clinic to everyone I know, I'm glad I chose it. Thank you, I will come back again in 4 months)

The doctor matched the color perfectly to my preferences
I remember discussing the shade for my new smile, and what really stood out was how the doctor matched the color perfectly to my preferences. I opted for a full mouth restoration with E-max pressed ceramic veneers, and the outcome feels right. Everyone was supportive. Now in the early stages of healing, everything is progressing about as expected, which is a relief. It’s also very reassuring that the clinic has stayed in touch to check on my progress since I've been home. The care was consistent.

I would recommend her any day
I decided to seek treatment with dentist Ela Cabuk after reading reviews so I'm hoping this review will help in the same way for another undecided person in making a sound choice,. I found her expertise professionalism and compassion to ones needs a true relief. I had receding gums on my top four front teeth and the roots were exposed, my own thought were to just get 4 on 4 but Ela found the perfect solution in restoring and firming my four front teeth without going to the extreme. I would recommend her any day, I could not fault my treatment or my outcome.

Such an unparalleled, all-encompassing service is unthinkable in Germany!
My rather unexpected decision to have two implants fitted at the age of 76 was immediately put into action by Dentist Gürkan! He gave me excellent advice, then examined my jawbone using an X-ray, and after a further 45 minutes, the two implants were professionally and perfectly in place! His very, very friendly manner and steady hand made this procedure a truly memorable experience! My thanks also go to the entire team: the surgical assistant, the reception staff, as well as the German interpreter and the member of staff who drove me from the office to the Dent-Helen-Clinic and, after the treatment, to the nearest cash machine, and looked after me. Such an unparalleled, all-encompassing service is unthinkable in Germany! Thank you very much for this positive experience and for continuing to keep your patients happy! I am already very much looking forward to returning to complete the treatment in a few months’ time! Best regards from Holger, aka Biker Bruno

Thank you very much for the care
If you're looking into getting teeth extracted, I can share my recent experience. I had five teeth removed using only local anesthesia, and it went smoothly. The clinic was great. I felt the doctor was a true professional with a lot of experience, and the entire staff was very nice and friendly. Thank you very much for the care. I would return next time with pleasure and completely without stress. It was also reassuring that there were no additional expenses beyond the price I paid to the clinic. My main advice would be, first and foremost, don't be afraid. I genuinely didn't feel any pain during the procedure.
Super klinika. Doktor profesjonalista z dużym doświadczeniem. Cała obsługa bardzo miła i sympatyczna. Dziękuję bardzo za opiekę. Na drugi raz przyjadę z przyjemnością i całkowicie bez stresu.

The process of checking in, the transfers, and the clinic was a flawless transition that really eased my worries
Traveling alone to Turkey was my biggest concern, but the ease of communication from start to finish was a relief. The process of checking in, the transfers, and the clinic was a flawless transition that really eased my worries. However, getting the airport transfer meeting point information before I landed would have made that part of the trip easier. My surgeon clearly explained all the material options for the 5-6 crowns I received. Recovery is going about as expected. The clinic's support has been good; they provided a clear aftercare guide and are easy to reach. My advice for others is to ask about the recovery timeline for eating and to bring additional funds for anything not visible in initial photos—or send an X-ray beforehand if possible.

You could’ve got the information for where to meet the transfer from the airport prior to me landing or leaving the airport and that would’ve made that part of the trip easier

I now feel better than I expected
What worried me most was how such a large number of new crowns would look and feel. But my dentist was very attentive. He carefully checked my bite, matched the colour of the zirconia crowns to my teeth, and showed me the result before fitting them. In the end, I had more than seven crowns fitted, and I now feel better than I expected. The support from the clinic is also great — they’re always on hand. There were no additional costs. I’d advise future patients to ask straight away how many days the treatment will take, and to make sure they allow an extra two days for flights.
I didn’t say I was looking for a cheap clinic; I was looking for high-quality work. The dentist fitted 21 zirconia crowns. I’m not experiencing any discomfort or pain. A brilliant job. Many thanks to the dentist and the interpreter. The transfer service was excellent.
Be sure to check exactly how long it will take the clinic to carry out the dental work. Seven days is the minimum. Do not include the day of arrival or departure of your flight.

The dentist was a great help; he carefully showed me all the colour options for my monolithic zirconia crowns and helped me make my choice
If you’re planning to have crowns fitted at this clinic, the first thing I’d mention is the cost. The dentist was a great help; he carefully showed me all the colour options for my monolithic zirconia crowns and helped me make my choice. The staff were also very good. After the procedure, I was given clear aftercare instructions, and I’m generally feeling just as I expected. Everything went smoothly. However, there were additional costs not included in the initial quote. So my main piece of advice is: take more money with you, because it actually ends up costing more than you expect.
I had implants fitted at the Mavidenta clinic in Turkey. The coordinator from Vookimed organised everything very well and was always available to answer any questions. The clinic’s coordinator was also always on hand to help with any queries. I was kept informed every day about when my appointments with the doctor were. The doctors are competent and did their job well; I’m satisfied. The interpreters were also very competent. Thank you for your work. I can recommend the clinic to everyone.
I wasn’t happy that I had to pay more than originally quoted. I had to pay an extra 10 euros for each crown. Also, on the second visit, I had to pay for the hotel myself, even though I’d initially been told that the clinic would cover the cost.

I now feel better than I expected
What surprised me most was how quickly the whole procedure was over. I’d expected to spend at least four hours in the dentist’s chair, but my dentist finished in less than two. During that time, he removed a number of decayed teeth with great professionalism and fitted 10 Nobel Biocare implants. He personally consulted with me before the operation and carried it out himself. I now feel better than I expected. The clinic is always on hand, which is very important during the recovery period. There were no additional costs. I’d advise future patients to have a good meal the evening before the operation. And if you’re facing the same extent of treatment as I did, make sure to take plenty of tissues with you to the hotel.
It’s hard for me to say what I didn’t like. I think everything went absolutely brilliantly. Everyone, from the coordinator to the driver, carried out their duties to perfection. I’m very grateful to everyone!
I think my visit went well, but I’m not sure what could be done to make my treatment more comfortable.

the service was excellent and I would recommend the clinic
If you’re thinking about getting crowns, I’d advise you to pay very close attention to the colour matching right from the start. I’ve had seven zirconia crowns fitted and the care I received from the surgeon and the staff was really good. Everything was professional. My only minor criticism is that the colour ended up being a touch too yellow compared to my natural teeth. I’m still in the healing phase and the sensation when chewing hasn’t quite settled yet, which is normal. Despite the minor colour issue, the service was excellent and I would recommend the clinic.
The clinic is very modern and clean, and the staff and dentist are very friendly and dedicated to their work. I would definitely recommend this clinic because they really did a great job; I was amazed by the results. Thank you very much.
The only thing I was missing was someone who spoke my language so I could communicate better, because I don't speak English, but I managed to get by using an app

It was an experience my husband and I will never forget!!
Bookimed was so helpful and extremely nice. Everything they told me was to the detail accurate. I was very nervous about this because we’d never traveled that far before, just so many unknowns. But from the minute we were picked up from the airport we felt completely comfortable. Even with the language barrier, there were tons of laughs, smiles and hugs. It was an experience my husband and I will never forget!!
About Bookimed service
I was very nervous about this trip and had tons of questions, so I’m sure at times I was driving the young lady that helped me crazy, but never did she make me feel that way. She always answered me in a timely fashion. She would even call the dentist office with questions I had and she would let me know right away what they had to say. I’m usually not a very trusting person, but she helped me know that even though we’d never met I could completely trust her. It was an experience of a lifetime, and I would definitely use them again.

The doctor personally fitted my 3–4 NTA implants and immediately gave me a clear timeline for when the crowns could be fitted, which was very reassuring
What I was most worried about was how the recovery would go and the journey home. And with good reason. My feelings are mixed so far; it’s still too early to talk about the final result, but the procedure itself went well. The doctor personally fitted my 3–4 NTA implants and immediately gave me a clear timeline for when the crowns could be fitted, which was very reassuring. The post-operative instructions were clear, and the only additional expense I had to cover was for medication. My only important piece of advice to future patients is this: if you can, extend your stay after the operation, because the flight is very tiring.
The Wi-Fi at the hotel doesn’t always work, so the coordinator can’t get through on the phone

The results so far are better than expected
My doctor was honesty from the start. He was very clear about the limitations of shape and color, and explained exactly why no-prep veneers were a good option for my specific case, even letting me try on temporary ones first. This made a huge difference. I had the procedure on over 14 teeth, both upper and lower, and the results so far are better than expected. The aftercare has been solid, too—the clinic is easy to reach and stays in touch with a clear guide. Plus, there were no additional expenses. The whole process felt very transparent.
I am very satisfied with my experience at the clinic. The communication with the coordinator was excellent from the very beginning—they were always helpful, professional, and quick to respond to my questions. The doctor who performed my procedure gave me excellent advice and explained everything clearly, which made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. The care I received during my stay at the clinic was of the highest standard. The entire staff was kind, attentive, and professional. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for outstanding medical care.

I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look
I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look. But I have to say big Thanks to my medical coordinator at Bookimed, Dr Kora. By booking my trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir through Bookimed, it completely removed the added stress of having to organise all of the logistics of the trip on my own. Dr Kora was extremely helpful and efficient in helping to organise and arrange everything with the Clinic on my behalf. Also answering any questions or concerns I may have had at any point, over the two trips. For which I am extremely grateful!
I recently returned from my second visit to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. The Clinic is staffed by warm and welcoming people. You are treated well, and the Clinic itself is clean and hygienic.
I honestly can't say that there was anything I didn't like. I felt like I was treated well during both visits and the level of professionalism and care was very good. Obviously having dental implants involves a significant amount of dental work to be done, but I felt it was done as well as possible.
About Bookimed service
Excellent service provided by Bookimed. I am especially grateful for the help and assistance I received at all stages by the amazing Dr Kora! Always polite, friendly and ready to help. Arranged all of the logistics with WestDent Clinic on my behalf for both trips. For which I will always be grateful. I would highly recommend Bookimed to anyone who is thinking about going abroad for a medical procedure!

The clinic provided excellent support after the procedure: they were always available and gave me clear aftercare instructions
It was very important to me that the surgeon personally carried out the placement of my seven-plus implants. Everything went according to plan. I’m currently in the early stages of recovery, and I’m feeling exactly as I expected, with no surprises. The clinic provided excellent support after the procedure: they were always available and gave me clear aftercare instructions. The doctor also gave me a clear timeline for the fitting of the crowns and, importantly, there were no additional costs.
Everything was very well organised: the hotel, the airport pick-up, and the taxi arrangements for the journey to the clinic and back to the hotel.
Personally, I was very pleased with everything, including the way the clinic was run

FAQ about Screw retained implant bridge in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is the difference between screw-retained and cement-retained implant bridges?

The primary difference lies in the connection method: screw-retained bridges use a mechanical screw for high retrievability, while cement-retained bridges use dental adhesive for superior aesthetics. Screws allow easy removal for maintenance, whereas cement-retained options are permanent and carry risks of peri-implantitis from excess adhesive.

  • Connection method: Screw-retained units attach directly through access holes; cement-retained units bond to abutments.
  • Maintenance access: Screws allow damage-free removal; cement versions often require cutting the bridge if issues arise.
  • Aesthetic zone: Cement-retained bridges lack visible access holes, making them ideal for front-facing `smile zone` teeth.
  • Vertical space: Screw-retained bridges require only 4 mm of space, while cement-retained needs at least 7 mm.
  • Clinical risks: Cement-retained types may cause bone loss if adhesive remains under the gumline after bonding.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish clinics often suggest screw-retained bridges for international patients to simplify future repairs back home. While screw versions can cost up to $500 more per arch, they eliminate the emergency recementing issues common with adhesive models. Surgeons like Dr. Ufuk Zeren at Ata Health Center, with 30,000 procedures, frequently utilize these for complex multi-unit cases to ensure long-term hygiene.

Patient Consensus: Patients prioritize screw-retained bridges for long-span restorations because they allow for professional cleaning without damaging the hardware. Many recommend requesting composite fillings for screw holes to ensure the final look matches natural tooth enamel perfectly.

How long does a screw-retained implant bridge last?

A screw-retained implant bridge typically lasts 15 to 25 years with professional maintenance. While the titanium implant posts are considered permanent, the prosthetic bridge may require repair after 15 years. This design allows specialists to easily remove the bridge for cleaning or porcelain restoration without damaging the underlying implants.

  • Prosthetic lifespan: Visible bridge components generally function effectively for 15 to 20 years.
  • Implant durability: Successfully integrated titanium posts often last a lifetime with proper care.
  • Retrievability benefit: Screw-access chambers allow non-destructive removal for routine maintenance or repairs.
  • Material quality: Premium zirconia like Katana ensures higher resistance to functional wear and fractures.

Bookimed Expert Insight: High-volume Turkish centers utilize digital intra-oral 3D planning to align screw-access holes away from biting surfaces. This technical precision, practiced by surgeons like Dr. Ufuk Zeren who has performed 30,000 procedures, significantly reduces the risk of porcelain chipping. Choosing clinics that provide material certificates for brands like Straumann or Nobel Biocare further secures the long-term structural integrity of the bridge.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize that using premium-grade zirconia is vital for longevity. Many recommend establishing a relationship with a local dentist for annual screw-retightening and imaging to prevent early implant complications.

Why is screw retention preferred for full-arch restorations such as All-on-4?

Screw retention is the gold standard for full-arch restorations like All-on-4 because it ensures predictable retrievability and biological safety. Unlike cemented alternatives, these bridges allow dentists to easily unscrew the prosthesis for professional deep cleaning, repairs, or addressing minor complications without damaging the underlying implants.

  • Biological safety: Eliminates excess cement residue, which is a leading cause of peri-implantitis inflammation.
  • Predictable maintenance: Allows non-destructive removal for routine hygiene or tightening components like Multi-Unit Abutments.
  • Vertical efficiency: Functions effectively with only 4–6 mm of space, accommodating patients with limited clearance.
  • Mechanical stability: Provides the necessary structural strength and passive fit required for long-span distal cantilevers.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from top Turkish clinics shows a shift toward screw-retained protocols specifically for international patients. Dr. Ufuk Zeren at Ata Health Center, who trained at the original Malo Clinic, emphasizes that this choice allows your local dentist back home to perform maintenance easily. Choosing screw-retained over cement-retained can save you $1,500 to $3,100 in future replacement costs if adjustments are needed.

Patient Consensus: Patients value the ability to have their bridge professionally cleaned and adjusted without a full redo. Many report that while the small composite-filled access holes are visible upon close inspection, the long-term hygiene benefits and peace of mind outweigh aesthetic concerns.

What materials are commonly used for screw-retained implant bridges in Turkey?

Turkish dental clinics primarily use full-contour monolithic zirconia and titanium-reinforced hybrids for screw-retained implant bridges. These materials balance extreme structural strength with natural aesthetics. High-grade titanium components, specifically Grade 4 or 5, ensure biocompatible internal screw retention and long-term stability in multi-unit restorations.

  • Dominant material: Full-contour monolithic zirconia provides maximum durability and superior stain resistance.
  • Hybrid frameworks: Titanium-reinforced zirconia hybrids offer enhanced performance for long-span dental bridges.
  • Retention components: Medical-grade titanium bases ensure precise fit and prevent internal screw corrosion.
  • Cost-effective options: Cobalt-chrome frameworks with porcelain overlays serve as a budget-friendly traditional alternative.
  • Aesthetic layering: Layered zirconia mimics natural tooth translucency for highly visible front-teeth restorations.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data suggests that choosing monolithic zirconia over cobalt-chrome significantly extends bridge longevity. While cobalt-chrome frameworks are cheaper, they show higher fracture risks after 2 years. Clinics like Tower Dental Clinic, which places 100 implants weekly, increasingly standardize on zirconia for its reliability and biocompatibility.

Patient Consensus: Patients prioritize monolithic zirconia for its life-like appearance and strength. Many recommend explicitly requesting lab certificates for titanium components to ensure authentic, high-grade materials are used for screw retention.

Does a screw-retained bridge endanger gum health compared with cement options?

Screw-retained bridges are generally safer for gum health than cement-retained options because they eliminate the risk of residual cement. While cement can trap bacteria below the gum line and cause peri-implantitis, screw-retained bridges allow easy removal for professional cleaning and direct visualization of gum tissue.

  • Cement toxicity: Excess cement causes approximately 81% of peri-implant disease cases through chronic bacterial colonization.
  • Superior retrievability: Dentists can unscrew the bridge easily for maintenance without damaging the prosthetic structure.
  • Biological safety: Eliminating subgingival adhesives prevents localized inflammation, pocketing, and potential long-term bone loss.
  • Cleaning accessibility: Screw-retained designs facilitate easier plaque removal, though access holes require specific oral hygiene tools.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish dental centers frequently recommend screw-retained bridges as a premium preventative measure against inflammation. Clinics like Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital use JCI-accredited standards to minimize surgical risks. While cement options average $600, choosing a screw-retained bridge at $1,500 is often more cost-effective long-term by avoiding expensive peri-implantitis treatments.

Patient Consensus: Many patients report switching to screw-retained options after experiencing chronic irritation with cement. They note that while cleaning around screw holes has a learning curve, the significant reduction in gum swelling is worth the effort.

Can a screw-retained bridge be removed if a problem arises?

A screw-retained bridge can be easily removed by a dentist to perform maintenance, repairs, or professional cleanings. This retrievability remains a primary advantage over cement-retained versions, as the bridge stays intact during removal. Mechanics simply unscrew the prosthetic without damaging the expensive framework or dental implants.

  • Removal process: Specialists remove composite seals and unscrew the bridge in 20 minutes.
  • Maintenance benefits: Easy access allows thorough cleaning to prevent peri-implantitis and bone loss.
  • Mechanical repairs: Dentists can replace fractured screws or chipped porcelain without replacing the bridge.
  • Long-term value: Reusing the original bridge after repairs saves patients significant replacement costs.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Retrievability is the gold standard for long-term implant success in Turkey. Data shows surgeons like Dr. Ertan Etemoglu at Tower Dental Clinic perform thousands of these procedures because they allow for non-destructive maintenance. Choosing a screw-retained option typically saves you 79% compared to US costs while ensuring the hardware remains serviceable for decades.

Patient Consensus: Patients appreciate the quick, painless removal process for routine checkups. Many recommend scheduling these 20-minute maintenance visits every 6 months to ensure screws remain tight and gums stay healthy.

How much vertical space is required for a screw-retained bridge?

A screw-retained bridge typically requires 4–5 mm of vertical restorative space for implant-level connections, while abutment-level designs need at least 7.5 mm. Full-arch hybrid bridges demand 12–15 mm to accommodate the metal framework, prosthetic teeth, and necessary hygiene clearance between the bridge and gum line.

  • Implant-level space: Minimum 4–5 mm required from the implant platform to the opposing arch.
  • Abutment-level space: Minimum 7.5 mm needed to fit intermediate abutment components and restorative material.
  • Zirconia requirements: Monolithic zirconia requires 6 mm total space, including a 4 mm titanium base.
  • Full-arch hybrids: Require 12–15 mm vertical clearance for structural integrity and easy cleaning access.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While 4 mm is a theoretical minimum, Turkish clinics often recommend a 15 mm vertical buffer for full-arch cases to avoid visible screw holes. Experienced surgeons like Dr. Ufuk Zeren at Ata Health Center often suggest bone grafting if your space is under 12 mm. Rushing into placement with insufficient clearance frequently leads to mechanical failures or aesthetic dissatisfaction regardless of the implant brand used.

Patient Consensus: Patients emphasize that skipping recommended bone grafting to save time often results in visible screw access holes that trap food. Clear communication regarding CBCT measurements before surgery is vital for ensuring the bridge looks natural and remains stable long-term.
