Dr. Ricardo Jose Perello Bisono is Chief of Cardiac Surgery and a cardiovascular surgeon with over 13 years of specialized experience in cardiac and vascular surgery. He completed his cardiovascular surgery residency at Hospital Felício Rocho in Brazil, a major cardiac center in Latin America. During training, he took part in over 1,200 procedures and served as lead surgeon in more than 200. He is involved in about 170 cardiac surgeries each year.
His expertise includes complex aortic disease, valve reconstruction, and minimally invasive structural heart procedures. He has participated in heart transplant programs and the use of ECMO.
