MML Medical Center is a multi-specialty facility in Warsaw, Poland. It operates as a combined outpatient clinic and hospital, specializing in one-day surgery for adults and children. The facility has two operating rooms, nine diagnostic-treatment rooms, and an 11-bed ward for overnight observation.

Medical Specialties and Surgical Expertise

The clinic focuses on procedure-based surgical specialties and diagnostics. Its surgical team includes 15 doctors working across several departments.

Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

ENT specialists treat diseases of the ears, nose, throat, and larynx. The department leads in functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) performed through the nostrils. Dr. Michał Michalik, a pioneer in the field, introduced balloon sinuplasty to the clinic.

For tonsil or adenoid issues, the clinic uses several methods:

Diode laser for precise tissue reduction
Celon bipolar RFITT thermoablation for snoring and apnea
Harmonic scalpel to minimize bleeding during surgery

The clinic also offers balloon sinuplasty (Balonoplastyka). This method uses flexible catheters to clear blocked sinuses without incisions. Surgeons also correct deviated septums and remove polyps causing nasal congestion.

Ophthalmology and Diagnostics

The ophthalmology department performs phacoemulsification for cataract treatment. Ultrasound breaks up the cloudy lens, which is then replaced with an intraocular implant. If cloudiness develops after surgery, posterior laser capsulotomy can restore clear vision.

Diagnostic tests support these treatments:

Gonioscopy for glaucoma assessment
Videonystagmography for balance disorders
Tonal and impedance audiometry for hearing loss
Computerized rhinomanometry for nasal airway testing

Specialists also manage chronic sinusitis linked to allergies. Testing includes skin prick tests and IgE antibody screenings.

Breast Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine

The breast surgery program offers oncoplastic tumor removal and risk-reducing mastectomies. Reconstruction options include implants, expanders, or LD flaps using tissue from the back. Surgeons also restore breast symmetry and reconstruct the nipple-areola complex.

Aesthetic medicine focuses on non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Dr. Marcin Repetowski performs botulinum therapy and wrinkle filling. These treatments target forehead lines and crow's feet.

Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory

The center runs a full-profile laboratory to support surgical planning. This means patients get accurate pre-treatment assessments in one location. Services include:

Microbiological and bacteriological testing
Histopathological analysis of tissue samples
Tumor marker screenings
Advanced sinus microbiome studies using nanopore sequencing

The clinic also participates in research to improve sinus treatment outcomes.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Agnieszka Dmowska-Koroblewska. I came to her for a deviated nasal septum procedure, and already at my first visit I knew I was in the care of an exceptional specialist. Dr. Dmowska-Koroblewska is incredibly professional, thorough, and at the same time very warm and empathetic. She calmly explains everything, answers every question, and gives the patient a tremendous sense of safety and peace. The procedure itself went very smoothly and professionally, and her care both before and after the surgery was at the highest level. Thanks to her extensive experience and commitment, the stress practically disappeared almost immediately. Yesterday I had sinus surgery at the MML clinic and I’m very pleased with the entire care. Right from the moment I was received at the reception, everything went smoothly and in a friendly atmosphere. I would especially like to thank the nurses for their attentive care, as well as Dr. Gerwel and the anesthesiologist for their full professionalism, calmness, and sense of security throughout the entire procedure. I felt looked after at every stage of the treatment. I sincerely recommend it ☺️

With full conviction, I recommend MML. My 3-year-old child had the third tonsil removed there with Dr. Zawadzka-Głos—the procedure went extremely quickly and smoothly, without any complications. The staff was professional and perfectly prepared to work with a young patient. The second visit took place when the child was 6 years old—re-correction of the Kisselbach plexus with Dr. Kołodziejczyk. A lovely doctor, with great calm and empathy, took care of the child, explained everything thoroughly, and the procedure itself was carried out on-site during the visit. In both cases, full professionalism, wonderful care for children, and a sense of security as a parent. I definitely recommend it.

Everyone has a different opinion, but I will try to explain to potential patients what it looked like in our case. I’m writing “our case” because the surgery to remove polyps from the sinuses — maxillary, sphenoid, ethmoid, and lateral (total blockage, loss of smell and taste, dizziness, narrowing of the field of vision) — was done for my father. Dr n. med Michał Michalik and the MML clinic were recommended to us by another specialist due to my father’s serious condition. We were informed that we needed to undergo surgery to remove the polyps because, in the near future (due to their location in the sinuses), there could be damage to the visual organ or the eye protrusion (exophthalmos). I won’t even mention how hard it was to perform everyday activities during the day—even the most basic ones. It was getting more and more burdensome and simply unmanageable for my father. We decided to receive treatment at the clinic. Contact with the clinic was very good. Really, if I wanted to set something or ask questions, in addition to the possibility of a conversation, I could always count on a genuinely quick response from the clinic to my email inbox. The appointments themselves were also arranged individually with my father, taking into account our travel possibilities for that specific time. Personally, not once did we experience any mistake that was due to either our side or the clinic’s side—no changes to the consultation schedule or any other problems that just didn’t happen. Maybe I should add right away that the MML clinic does not have assigned parking spaces for patients. Of course, there are places where you have to pay, very close to the clinic, but you just need luck to get one. It worked for us every time, but please don’t be discouraged—there are other transport options to the clinic that are less “intrusive”; you just need to sort out this issue before your visit. Also, if someone prefers to come to Warsaw the day before the operation or the visit, there are literally “just around the corner” apartments from which we go, as they say, in slippers, to the clinic visit. It’s very convenient in that sense. Now let’s move on to the visits. Dr n. med Michał Michalik is a very competent doctor. He provided all the information for my father. You could count on his support, and he addressed and developed every concern that appeared before the operation itself. We also used visits with Dr Agnieszka Dmowska-Koroblewska, who conducted an interview with us, qualified us for the surgery, and carried out the later post-operative check-ups. A person with a great heart, patience, and extensive professional knowledge. We were given valuable guidance; the pharmacology was implemented. The way Dr took care of us was so thorough that we will remember it for the rest of our lives. Thank you very much, Dr. From the bottom of our hearts, we recommend this clinic.

I would like to thank Doctor Agnieszka Dmowska-Koroblewska very much for the new quality of life after the coblation procedure. I came to the doctor with serious symptoms of sleep apnea, which were causing me to choke. Snoring was also a huge problem for me and my family. After the procedure, I forgot about the sleep apnea and the snoring. I am an active martial arts competitor, and my new breathing has led to better sports performance.
