Patients with kidney cancer are treated at the Department of Urology of Severance Hospital. Surgeries are performed by the best oncosurgeons of South Korea - professor Koon Ho Rha, doctor Won Sik Ham and others.
In 2005, Prof. Koon Ho Rha was the first in Korea who performed robotic-assisted surgery using Da Vinci System.
Professor of Urology, Oncosurgeon, specializes in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries
Complex diagnostics of kidney cancer includes some procedures:

- CT, MRI, PET-CT.
Patient has to come at consultation with all medical extracts and images with conclusion. Primary examination can be followed by an additional one. If the patient is referred for operation, additional pre-operative tests are to be done (ECG, blood count, X-rays).

Kidney cancer treatment is controlled by chief urologist of the Clinic - professor Chio Han Yong. He started his practice in 1979 and is an acknowledged expert in the field.
Examination is performed on outpatient basis during 8-10 days. For biopsy sampling the patient is hospitalized for 2-3 days.
