Dr Arnulf Ferlitsch
Gastroenterologist
Dr. Ferlitsch is a leading specialist in his field, having completed medical studies in Vienna in 1998 and internships in internal medicine and gastroenterology/hepatology from 2000-2010. He has been awarded numerous research awards and stipends and has trained in a variety of areas. He is currently the head of the Department for Internal Medicine I at the Hospital of the Barmherzigen Brüder Vienna.
Dr. Ferlitsch is the leading specialist in his working field. Prof. Ferlitsch completed his medical studies in Vienna in 1998. Between 2000 and 2006, he completed an internship at the Vienna General Hospital in the field of internal medicine. From 2006 to 2008, the doctor was trained as an additional specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Vienna General Hospital, and from 2008 to 2010 - also as a specialist in internal resuscitation.

• 2006-2008 additional specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology
• 2008-2010 additional specialist in internal intensive care medicine
• 2003 establishment and management of the hepatic hemodynamics laboratory and the outpatient clinic for cirrhosis of the liver at the Medical University of Vienna
